Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy
Advanced Clinical Massage — 6-Session Programme
If something has been going on for a while — a persistent shoulder, a jaw that won't settle, a back that improves and then returns — a single session may give you some relief. A programme gives you something to build on.
Real change in chronic soft-tissue patterns takes time and steady progression. This programme is designed to do that work properly.
What the programme involves
Six sessions using Jing Method® Advanced Clinical Massage — myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, acupressure and stretching. Every session is informed by what I found in the last one. The pattern evolves because the programme is building at a pace that supports your individual recovery.
The programme begins with a 90-minute session to establish your goals and begin working the presenting pattern, followed by two 75-minute sessions. Session four returns to 90 minutes as we reassess how the tissue has opened up and responded. Sessions five and six are 75 minutes each. Home-care guidance is woven in throughout — what you do between sessions can also shape how quickly things progress and this method really gives you back a great deal of control in your own wellbeing journey.
Hot stones are used regularly throughout the programme, deepening the soft-tissue work and supporting the nervous system response. They're usually a very welcome part of the experience, especially in mid-winter!
The Jing Method®
The Jing Method® is the UK's leading postgraduate framework for clinical massage — drawing on evidence-informed techniques from multiple disciplines and focused on outcomes that hold. The qualification encompasses advanced clinical and sports massage, meaning the full range of deep tissue and structural techniques is available where clinically appropriate. This is purposeful, personalised, effective work. And though we may well focus on your nervous system at times, it is not a standard relaxation 'routine'.
Who IS This For?
People with chronic or recurrent pain — back, neck, shoulders, jaw, knee, foot, hand, arm — that hasn't fully resolved. Anyone who has had singlular massage sessions and felt improvement that didn't hold. Clients with soft-tissue conditions following injury or surgery. People carrying postural strain from long periods of sustained work or effort. And those used to sports massage or deep tissue work who want a structured clinical programme with detailed assessment and treatment planning.
