Treatments
Every treatment at Nu Clear Welbeing is tailored to you — not just in terms of technique, but in terms of what's actually going to be most useful. We'll have a conversation first. I'll ask what you're looking for, what's been going on, what you'd like to feel afterwards. That shapes everything.
You can't get it wrong. If you book one thing and we decide in the room that something else would serve you better, we'll go there. Treatments can evolve — within a session, across a programme, or just over time as things change.
If you're genuinely not sure what to book, drop me a WhatsApp and I'll help you think it through.
Clinical Aromatherapy
Available following initial Clinical Aromatherapy Programme or Aromatherapy Blending session
30 / 60 / 90 minutes · All venues
What this is
Clinical aromatherapy is the informed, precise use of essential oil compounds to support specific presentations — considering factors in your nervous system, physical body and your current lifestyle. Unlike a standard aromatherapy massage where pre-blended oils are used, clinical aromatherapy sessions involve personally chosen and designed blends — selected and formulated specifically for you, building across sessions as part of an ongoing clinical journey. Available as a six-session programme with massage and bespoke blends, or as a standalone Aromatherapy Blending Session where we explore a scent palette and products suited to your personal preferences.
Who it suits
Anyone who wants aromatherapy to be the clinical lead rather than a complement to massage. People dealing with chronic stress, nervous system dysregulation, sleep disturbance, hormonal patterns or fatigue that doesn't resolve with rest alone. Those who want a personalised blend to use between sessions — or simply to understand what aromatherapy can actually do when it's applied properly.
Is this right for you?
Suitable for most people. Please let me know about: allergies or sensitivities · current medications, particularly immunosuppressants, anticoagulants or chemotherapy · epilepsy · serious respiratory conditions · pregnancy. Every blend is formulated safely for your specific situation.
Clinical Aromatherapy Programme — 6 sessions
Six sessions where the aromatherapy is the clinical lead. Session one is a full consultation — your history, your nervous system, what you want to shift — from which I design your first blend. Sessions build on each other, with oil testing and blend refinement as part of an ongoing clinical journey. Take-home blends can be purchased at any point.
Session 1: 90 minutes. Sessions 2–6: 60 minutes each. weekly to monthly for initial 6 sessions.
Aromatherapy Blending Session — without massage
A 60-minute session dedicated to creating a personally designed aromatherapy blend for home use — for diffuser use, massage, bath or inhalation. We have a relaxed conversation with a hot or cold drink, and work through your history, what you want to support. I then formulate something specific to you. Clinical aromatherapy without the massage. The blend is yours to take away.

Advanced Clinical Massage
Available following initial Advanced Clinical Massage Programme
60 / 90 minutes · All venues
What this is
Advanced clinical massage using Jing Method® techniques — hot stones, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, assisted stretching, acupressure and sports massage — applied on the basis of clinical assessment rather than a standard protocol. This work is currently offered as part of a postgraduate training programme through the Jing Institute, with final qualification in September 2026. Sessions are offered at a reduced rate to reflect this.
Who it suits
People with chronic or recurrent pain anywhere in the body— back, neck, shoulders, jaw etc. and anyone who has felt improvement from massage that didn't hold. Clients with soft-tissue conditions following injury or surgery. People used to sports massage or deep tissue work who want proper clinical assessment and a treatment plan built around their presentation.
Is this right for you?
Please read the treatment information for Massage Therapy on this page. If you have a complex health history or any uncertainty, drop me a WhatsApp before booking.
Advanced Clinical Massage Programme — 6 sessions
Six sessions that build progressively, with each session guided by what I find and how your body is responding. Treatment begins with a 90-minute session to establish your goals, understand your history and begin working the presenting pattern. Sessions are held weekly in the early stages until a significant change in your condition is established, at which point appointments are spaced out as the tissue continues to respond and settle. Hot stones are used regularly as part of the treatment. Home-care guidance is a specific and integral part of this method — what you do between sessions directly affects how quickly progress is made.
Session 1 and 4: 90 minutes · Sessions 2, 3, 5, 6: 75 minutes. Weekly to fortnightly for initial 6 sessions.
Massage Therapy — Holistic, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Relaxing or Energising
30 / 60 / 90 minutes · All venues
What this is
A massage session with a brief consultation to establish what you need on the day — Swedish, deep tissue, holistic, relaxing or energising, using the most appropriate style and pressure for you. Pre-blended aromatherapy oils can be incorporated to support the session — to aid relaxation, ease tension or energise, depending on what you’re looking for. This suits one-off appointments, gift bookings and regular clients. For those who come consistently, membership offers the best rate and the most flexibility.
Who it suits
Clients who want to relax properly and come away feeling genuinely different, as well as those with muscular tension or soreness who want effective work without a clinical programme. People who prefer lighter, more relaxing pressure as much as those who want something firmer and deeper. One-off clients, gift recipients and regular clients alike.
Is this right for you?
Suitable for most people. Please let me know about: acute injury or inflammation · fever or infection · blood clots or DVT · recent surgery within 6 weeks · blood thinners · open skin conditions in the area to be treated. Not suitable during pregnancy — please book Maternity Therapies instead.
Face Remodelling
Available following initial Face Remodelling Programme
90 minutes · All venues
What this is
A clinical treatment method using fascial release, deep tissue techniques, lymphatic drainage and buccal massage — working with the muscles, fascia and lymphatic pathways of the face, jaw, neck and décolleté together rather than in isolation. The jaw influences the neck. The neck influences and is influenced by posture. Addressing those relationships is what produces results that surface treatments cannot. The buccal element — working from inside the mouth — gives direct access to muscles that external pressure doesn't reach.
Who it suits
Anyone looking for a serious, non-invasive approach to facial tension, structure and definition. The person who carries tension in their jaw without fully realising it. Who has noticed asymmetry or loss of definition and wants to understand what's driving it. Who is ready for something structural rather than surface-level. Also useful for those who want to rebalance and prepare the face prior to aesthetic skin procedures.
Is this right for you?
Please let me know before booking if any of the following apply: active dental work or recent oral surgery — allow 6 weeks minimum · dental implants — please discuss with me · TMJ dysfunction with acute inflammation · recent dermal fillers or Botox — allow 4 weeks minimum · active skin infections, cold sores or open wounds in the treatment area · blood-thinning medication · known clotting disorders · pregnancy.
Face Remodelling Programme — initial 4 sessions
Treatment begins with four sessions held weekly to fortnightly, allowing the tissue and facial structure to respond progressively to the work. After the initial programme, ongoing maintenance and therapy sessions are available and spaced to suit your needs.
All sessions: 90 minutes · Weekly to fortnightly for initial 4 sessions.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage / Facial Massage
15 / 30 / 60 minutes · All venues
What this is
Manual lymphatic drainage uses slow, rhythmic, precisely sequenced light pressure to support the body's lymphatic system. The training behind this work at Nu Clear Wellbeing is specifically in lymphatic drainage massage for cancer and oedema — which means the clinical understanding goes beyond general beauty application. It is performed through a sheet, with focus on the lymphatic pathways rather than muscle tissue. The effect is usually calming and energising: people often leave feeling lighter, clearer and more settled. Lymphatic drainage has well-established clinical benefits, most significant for people with compromised, congested or sluggish lymphatic systems. For those who are very active and otherwise healthy, deep tissue or myofascial work may produce more noticeable results. If you’re unsure which is more appropriate, please get in touch before booking.
Who it suits
Clients with oedema. People who have been recommended Lymphatic drainage massage post-cancer treatments, though I cannot treat anyone where cancer may be present in their lymphatic system. Clients with puffiness, congestion or sluggishness — particularly around the face, jaw and neck. People recovering from illness, surgery or long-haul travel. Those dealing with sinus congestion. Anyone who wants to feel lighter and brighter who would prefer this to more traditional forms of massage. Available as a facial treatment, upper body or full body session. Please note, I do not offer advice on compression garments.
Is this right for you?
Many people can book directly without a prior call. If you have no serious heart or kidney pathologies, are not post-surgery and have no active or recent cancer, including those affecting the lymphatic system, booking online is straightforward. If you have questions about suitability — including post-surgical recovery, lymphoedema or oedema from other causes, cancer-related presentations or any complex health history — please message to arrange a brief call before booking. These calls are free of charge and scheduled outside clinic hours. Contraindications that require discussion before booking: active infection or fever · serious heart or kidney pathologies · acute thrombosis or DVT · active cancer affecting the lymphatic system · kidney disease · untreated thyroid conditions. Those seeking lymphatic drainage post surgery must have clear recommendation and advice from their surgical team.
Hot and Cold Stone Therapies
Massage, reflexology and facial treatments · All venues
What this is
Heated basalt and chilled marble stones are used as clinical tools — worked actively into the tissue alongside manual techniques, not placed and left. The thermal contrast deepens fascial release, promotes circulation and supports the nervous system in shifting into recovery more effectively than manual work alone. Available as a full body massage, a facial massage, reflexology or as a combination. Hot stones are also a regular element of the Advanced Clinical Massage programme.
Who it suits
Those with deep or long-standing muscular tension that responds slowly to hands-on work alone, or who find heat genuinely therapeutic. Particularly effective during colder months and for clients carrying fatigue alongside tension. The cold stone facial is well suited to those with puffiness or inflammation in the face, or jaw tension where heat would be counterproductive. Hot stone reflexology works well for those who find standard reflexology pressure a little sharp.
Is this right for you?
Please let me know about: cardiovascular conditions including high blood pressure · diabetes · Raynaud’s disease or poor circulation · skin sensitivity in the treatment area · pregnancy · fever or infection · recent surgery within 6 weeks · blood thinners. For the cold stone facial, also please mention rosacea or active skin conditions in the treatment area.
Reflexology (Hand or Foot)
30 minutes · All venues
What this is
Specific pressure applied to precise points on the hands or feet. The physiological response — activating the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing cortisol — is real and measurable. Reflexology works on the nervous system through precise pressure on specific points of the hands or feet. The physiological response is measurable and distinct from general massage. One of the most effective treatments available in 30 minutes, and you can stay completely clothed throughout if you prefer. Pre-blended aromatherapy oils incorporated as standard.
Who it suits
People who find full-body massage uncomfortable or aren't ready for it. Those whose stress lives primarily in their head. Clients who want something effective in a short window without undressing. Safe throughout pregnancy. Works well added onto any other treatment.
Is this right for you?
Suitable for most people including during pregnancy. Please let me know about: foot or hand injuries, fractures or recent surgery · active blood clots or DVT · severe osteoporosis · active infections or open wounds · first trimester pregnancy
Indian Head Massage
45 minutes · All venues
What this is
Works on the scalp, neck, shoulders and upper back — the places that carry the most tension for most people, and the places that are rarely properly addressed. Clinical aromatherapy blends chosen for your nervous system and what we're working on. You stay seated and clothed throughout. The effect on the nervous system is significant even in a single session.
Who it suits
Clients with tension headaches, neck and shoulder tightness, scalp tension from screen use or sustained concentration. People who prefer not to lie down for treatment. Works well between full massage appointments.
Is this right for you?
Please let me know about: recent head, neck or shoulder injury or surgery · cervical disc conditions · scalp conditions in the treatment area · epilepsy · recent stroke · uncontrolled high blood pressure · migraine within the past 24 hours.
Face Cupping / Vacuum Cupping
15 minutes · All venues
What this is
Small silicone cups applied to the face and neck in precise sequences to lift fascial tissue, stimulate circulation and support lymphatic drainage. The vacuum lift creates space in the fascia that conventional pressure can't produce. Often combined with lymphatic drainage facial massage for a more complete result — works well as a standalone short treatment or added onto other therapies.
Who it suits
Clients wanting to address puffiness, congestion or loss of definition in the face. Those who respond well to lift-based work rather than pressure-based work.
Is this right for you?
Please don't book if you have: active acne, broken skin, rosacea or very sensitive skin in the treatment area · sunburn · active cold sores. Please allow at least six weeks after dermal fillers and botox.
Maternity Therapies
from 12 weeks · All venues
What this is
Massage and aromatherapy adapted for pregnancy — available as standalone maternity massage, reflexology, facial treatment, or a combined pregnancy massage and foot reflexology. All blends are chosen specifically for safety in pregnancy. Positions and techniques are modified throughout. Reflexology is particularly well-suited to pregnancy and can be offered with appropriate care.
Who it suits
Clients from 12 weeks into pregnancy who are experiencing tension, back pain, swelling, fatigue, stress or poor sleep. Those who want to support their nervous system and feel properly cared for during a significant physical change. Also perfect if you're looking for a soothing and calming therapy simply for the experience.
Is this right for you?
Please do not book before 12 weeks into pregnancy. Let me know your current stage of pregnancy and any complications including placenta praevia, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, history of miscarriage or pre-term labour. Please book the dedicated maternity appointment type — not standard Massage Therapy.
