What is Face Remodelling?

Most people have never heard of Face Remodelling. The name doesn’t quite explain itself — and the treatment doesn’t fit neatly into a familiar category. It isn’t a facial. It isn’t a beauty treatment. It’s a form of advanced clinical bodywork applied to the face, neck and décolleté, treating all three as one connected structure.

Face Remodelling clinical facial treatment at Nu Clear Wellbeing. Fascial release and buccal massage for face, neck and décolleté at clinics in Andover, Odiham and London.

Face Remodelling uses fascial release, deep tissue techniques, lymphatic drainage and buccal massage — working inside the mouth along the jaw and cheek muscles — to address tension, restriction and structural change that has built up over time. It’s manual therapy, delivered with the same clinical thinking that underpins everything I do at Nu Clear Wellbeing.

How a session works

A Face Remodelling appointment is 80 minutes. It begins the same way all my clinical work does — with a conversation. I want to understand your history: where you hold tension, what you’ve noticed changing, how your jaw feels, whether you clench or grind, what your posture is like, what your body has been doing for the last few years or decades.

The treatment itself is detailed, structured work. I use fascial release techniques across the face, forehead, jaw and neck. I work with deep tissue methods along the neck and décolleté. Lymphatic drainage supports the movement of fluid and congestion. And buccal massage — working inside the mouth — addresses the deep muscles of the jaw and cheek that cannot be reached from the outside.

This is firm, considered work. It isn’t painful, but it isn’t passive either. Most people find the buccal element unfamiliar during the first session and entirely comfortable by the second. I talk through everything before we begin.

After the session, I share what I observed and make recommendations about how to build on the work. Face Remodelling is designed to produce change over a series of sessions — each one building on the last.

What face remodelling addresses

The face, neck and décolleté are not separate structures. They are one continuous system of muscle, fascia and connective tissue. What shows in the face often originates in the jaw, the neck or the posture. Face Remodelling works with those relationships rather than treating the face in isolation.

The conditions it addresses include jaw tension and masseter tightness — particularly common in people who clench, grind or carry stress in the jaw. It works with facial asymmetry and loss of definition where muscular and fascial patterns have shifted the balance of the face over time. It addresses lines and folds — across the forehead, around the mouth and along the neck — that are maintained by tension rather than skin quality alone. And it supports the reduction of puffiness, under-eye heaviness and dull skin tone through lymphatic drainage.

The neck and décolleté are treated as part of the same structure. Tension in the neck affects the face. Postural habits affect the neck. Treating one without the other limits what the work can achieve.

Who it's most useful for

Face Remodelling is particularly relevant for people who carry tension in the jaw, who clench or grind their teeth, or who have noticed that stress has started to show in their face and neck. It’s useful for anyone who has been aware of changes — asymmetry, heaviness, loss of definition — and wants to address them through skilled manual work rather than accepting them as inevitable.

It is also relevant for people who already invest in their skin but feel that something structural is happening underneath that skincare alone isn’t reaching. Fascial restriction, muscular tension and lymphatic congestion all sit beneath the surface. They respond to clinical bodywork in a way that topical products cannot replicate.

The people who tend to get the most from Face Remodelling are those who are willing to commit to a course of sessions. This is not a one-appointment treatment. A single session can be genuinely useful — but real, lasting structural change happens over a series, with each session informed by what happened in the last.

What it isn't

Face Remodelling is not a facial. There are no products applied for their own sake, no masks, no steam. It is clinical bodywork — the same category of treatment as the advanced clinical massage I offer for the rest of the body.

It is also not a quick fix. The changes it produces are real and visible, but they come from working carefully with tissue over time. If you’re looking for something that delivers results in a single session with no follow-up, this probably isn’t the right treatment. If you’re looking for something thorough, considered and grounded in how the body actually works — it may be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
